Conferences
For the last 15 years, the "Safe Schools- Successful Students" Conference has been sponsored by Kentucky School Boards Association (KSBA) and Kentucky Center for School Safety (KCSS) , in collaboration with the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), Office of Drug Control Policy, Kentucky Center for Instructional Discipline and Kentucky Educational Collaborative for State Agency Children (KECSAC).

This conference brings authorities in school safety to present on topics such as sexting, cyberbullying, drugs, shootings, drinking and natural disasters.  Educators and school boards across the nation continue to look for inspiration to create tools and plans to improve school safety, this conference provides an opportunity for both.

Jon Akers, Executive Director of the Kentucky Center for School Safety, welcomes over 500 to the 15th Annual Safe School Conference.
