Kentucky Center for School Safety wants to step up to the challenge and encourage every school across Kentucky to participate in Kentucky Safe Schools Week, October 17-23, 2010.  This year’s theme is R-E-S-P-E-C-T and will span topics from bullying, cyber bullying, sexting, to suicide.  A reproducible promotional  flyer is attached. Interactive online pledges are available on Bullying, Cyber bullying and a new pledge will be launched this year entitled “R-E-S-P-E-C-T”. This pledge encompasses the idea that respect of one’s self and others will help to eliminate problems surrounding a variety of school safety issues.
